I work in the QC lab for QHY Bioengineering Co., Ltd. Every AICAR batch gets HPLC checked before shipment. We never skip this.

We keep raw HPLC files for every lot we make. All batches we send out have purity over 99%. Endotoxin is tested for each lot, results stay under 0.5EU/mg. This quality works well for most regular cell experiments. The product is lyophilized powder sealed in individual glass vials. Important: AICAR is only for lab research. Not for human use.

We monitored stability over months in our lab. Unopened vials kept at -20℃ hold steady biological activity for about 12 months. We ran into this issue many times during our cell tests. Once you reconstitute the powder, repeated freeze-thaw cycles mess up data consistency.

We tested this ourselves. We thawed and refroze the same AICAR sample multiple times. Replicate wells showed obvious reading differences. Some data stayed close to our expected values, but some shifted. It makes comparing parallel groups hard to trust.

A tip picked up from our lab work. After dissolving the powder, split the liquid into small single-use portions and freeze separately. Only thaw one portion each time you run tests. Don't keep freezing and thawing your full stock.

Our team ran in vitro cell tests to learn what AICAR can do. Most of our internal work looks at cell energy metabolism and intracellular signaling pathways.

For these trials, we set different concentration groups on parallel culture plates. We watched cell responses across varied doses. The data we collected helps researchers pick a good starting concentration for their own assays.

Many researchers we talk to use AICAR for early exploration of cell pathway mechanisms. They often build control and treatment groups for cell culture projects. It works fine under standard incubation settings. If your experiment needs combined treatment groups, AICAR can be tested alongside other research peptides.
